Business Development Manager Position Type:

Based in South Florida (Field-First Strategy) Position Overview We are an elite, permanent placement recruitment firm specializing in the long-term care and behavioral health sectors. We are seeking an energetic, high-performing Business Development Manager to spearhead our client acquisition and market expansion efforts. This is not a desk job. Our business is built on trust, relationships, and an unmistakable local presence. You will execute a structured, highly visible territory management strategy—spending four days a week in the field conducting face-to-face networking and one day in the office managing administration and tracking pipeline activity. To maximize territory impact, you will follow a strict, structured weekly operational plan: On the road executing face-to-face facility visits, meeting with regional administrators, delivering physical marketing assets, and networking with key healthcare decision-makers across the territory. Dedicated to administrative duties, CRM logging, follow-up communications, setting the upcoming week's field schedule, and strategy alignment with leadership. Key Responsibilities Actively hunt for new client partnerships with skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living communities, and behavioral health hospitals. Conduct high-volume, face-to-face field drops and formal meetings with facility owners, HR directors, and operational leadership to uncover urgent talent vacancies. Effectively communicate our specialized headhunting and anonymized screening process to show prospects how we deliver superior permanent talent. Utilize our CRM database to track prospects, manage follow-ups, and meticulously plan efficient weekly field routing. Represent the firm at regional trade shows and healthcare association conferences to build high-level brand awareness and secure new job orders. Qualifications 3-5+ years of outside sales or business development experience, ideally within healthcare staffing, long-term care operations, or corporate B2B services. A strong passion for face-to-face prospecting, physical networking, and a high comfort level executing cold and warm facility drop-ins. Strong professional polish with the ability to confidently speak the language of healthcare administrators, corporate HR professionals, and executives. Ability to independently manage a demanding, structured field schedule and maintain clean tracking metrics in the database. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for daily travel throughout the designated South Florida territory. What We Offer Competitive base salary with an aggressive, uncapped commission structure tied directly to the permanent placement job orders you secure. Standard mileage/travel expense reimbursement.
