Account Manager / Business Development Representative Accredited Firestop Installers, LLC (AFI)
Location:
Southeast Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties)
Compensation:
$60,000-$80,000 per year based on experience, plus performance bonuses About Us Accredited Firestop Installers (AFI) is a growing specialty contractor serving commercial construction projects throughout Florida. We provide firestop systems, fireproofing, insulation, core drilling, and specialty life-safety services for healthcare, education, multifamily, industrial, and commercial projects. As we continue to expand throughout Southeast Florida, we are seeking a motivated Account Manager / Business Development Representative to help grow our customer base and strengthen relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and owners. Position Summary This is an entry-level to mid-level construction sales position focused on relationship building, lead generation, and business development. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, professional, and comfortable meeting new people in the construction industry. No firestop experience is required. Construction experience, sales experience, or customer relationship experience is preferred. Responsibilities Develop relationships with general contractors, project managers, estimators, and superintendents. Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout Southeast Florida. Conduct customer visits, jobsite visits, lunches, and networking meetings. Follow up on bids and proposals submitted by our estimating team. Attend industry events, trade shows, and association meetings. Track customer interactions and opportunities within our CRM system. Assist with market research and identifying upcoming projects. Work closely with estimating and operations teams to support customers and secure awarded work. Maintain regular communication with existing clients while developing new accounts. Qualifications Construction industry experience preferred but not required. Sales, customer service, account management, or business development experience is a plus. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and organized. Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities. Professional appearance and attitude. Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Compensation & Benefits $60,000-$80,000 annual salary based on experience.
