What You Will Do:
The Sales Director is responsible for leading all sales and marketing efforts to drive occupancy, build community awareness, and create an exceptional experience for prospective residents and their families.
Responsibilities include:
Establish goals and oversee daily sales and marketing operations to achieve and maintain occupancy targets. Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and company guidelines. Monitor departmental performance and implement strategies to improve effectiveness and results. Design, implement, and manage the annual sales and marketing plan. Develop advertising campaigns, newsletters, public relations materials, and other marketing initiatives. Coordinate media relations, interviews, and press releases to enhance community visibility. Conduct sales presentations, community tours, and outreach events to generate leads and move-ins. Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and community organizations. Actively participate in outreach efforts to increase awareness and goodwill within the local market. Oversee and enhance the move-in experience to ensure a smooth transition for new residents and their families. Develop departmental budgets, forecasts, and staffing plans. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is expected to perform independently while exercising sound judgment. The Sales Director supervises, directs, and reviews the work of associates within the Sales Department.
Why You Are Qualified:
The ideal candidate will possess: A combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a focus in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in sales, marketing, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related industry. Proven ability to build relationships, generate referrals, and close sales opportunities. Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills. A valid state driver's license and proof of liability insurance with the ability to use a personal vehicle for business-related travel. The ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, and lift up to 15 pounds unassisted throughout the workday.
