Responsible for revenue growth, customer experience, donation growth, merchandising excellence, staff and volunteer leadership, community visibility, and financial stewardship. Leads the store as a mission-driven retail enterprise generating critical support for hospice and community care. Key Responsibilities Revenue & Financial Performance
  • Achieve annual revenue target of $1.7M+
  • Manage payroll, expenses, and contribution margin
  • Drive average ticket growth
  • Analyze trends and implement corrective actions Retail Operations
  • Maintain exceptional store standards
  • Lead merchandising strategy and seasonal resets
  • Oversee receiving, pricing, inventory flow, furniture operations
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and loss prevention People Leadership
  • Lead and inspire staff and volunteers
  • Build accountability and engagement culture
  • Recruit, coach, develop leaders
  • Conduct performance management Community & Donation Growth
  • Build donor partnerships
  • Represent VNATC publicly
  • Expand estate/realtor/church donation channels
  • Partner with marketing for promotions Mission Integration
  • Connect store success to patient/family care impact
  • Promote VNA mission in customer experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor's preferred
  • 5+ years retail leadership
  • Experience managing $1M+ business preferred
  • Team leadership experience (15+ people)
  • Strong KPI and financial acumen
  • Community-facing leadership style
  • Nonprofit/thrift experience preferred
