Job Description
Position Description:
The Truvista Fiber Wholesale and Carrier Account Director is an individual contributor with responsibility to meet or exceed monthly Wholesale and Carrier sales quota in the assigned South Carolina & Georgia territory. The Wholesale and Carrier Account Director is responsible for accelerating top line revenue growth and retention for wholesale and carrier partners. He/she is accountable for developing trusted, long-term business relationships, developing strategic account plans, negotiating contracts, leading end-to-end sales cycles, and revenue growth.Key Responsibilities include:
Revenue Generation:
Identifies, bids on, negotiates, and closes new sales opportunities to exceed sales quotas.Executive & Strategic Focus:
Drives key account growth by fostering long-term partnerships, executing strategic planning, negotiating contracts, and managing the full sales lifecycle.Account Strategy:
Develops comprehensive account plans to expand, deepen, and retain existing customer relationships.Sales Forecasting:
Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecasts (funnel management) of identified and proposed opportunities.Relationship Management:
Acts as a strategic partner to carrier/wholesale clients, conducting regular reviews and acting on customer trends. QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university with 7+ years of industry sales experience, particularly in telecom or IT servicesDemonstrated success in technology sales, specific to telecommunications industryDeep understanding of companys telecommunications products and network capabilitiesProven success of building strong relationships and partnerships, with specific expertise in partner/carrier channel managementThorough understanding of executive relationship development and management of strategic sales processStrong business and financial acumen with an understanding of the economic drivers in enterprise/carrier businessesStrong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skillsExperience in developing, negotiating and executing customer contractsMust have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and be willing to travel as required based on needs of the businessEssential Job Functions:
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:Meet or exceed monthly sales goals for new salesDrive sales opportunities with Partner/Carrier teamsDevelop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Truvistas capabilities and service offerings of high-speed dataPerform lead generation activities on a consistent basis, including professional networking and telephone, email, and in-person prospectingDevelop and maintain trusted, long-term business relationships with our wholesale and carrier partners Promote a positive reputation and brand image for Truvista Respond to customer-initiated inquiries for products and services in a timely mannerUpdate and maintain accurate customer contact information in Truvistas sales systemEngage necessary internal resources to design and propose optimal solutions for prospectsRemain engaged as the primary customer contact throughout the customer installation and service activation processResearch and maintain a strong working knowledge of competitors and their sales and marketing strategiesComplete additional duties and projects as assigned by managementDeliver consistent attendance and on-time arrival in the workplace
