Based on experience About Us Hamlin Hills Farm is Georgia's friendliest family fun farm — a unique mix of Southern restaurant, BBQ smokehouse, petting zoo, produce stand, and antique-filled agritourism destination. We're a place where families come to relax, explore, and enjoy the simple things — good food, good people, and good fun. Position Overview We're looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations at Hamlin Hills Farm. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in both restaurant management and hands-on operations , who can bring structure, accountability, and leadership to a multifaceted family attraction. You'll oversee kitchen and food service operations, inventory management, retail gift shop performance, event scheduling, and a small but dedicated team. This position combines leadership, customer service, and operational problem-solving in a unique, community-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across the restaurant, farm market, and retail spaces Manage kitchen staff and assist with cooking, food prep, and service when needed Maintain inventory and ordering for food, supplies, and gift shop items Develop staff schedules and provide ongoing training to maintain high service standards Oversee facebook page Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and health department regulations Support and coordinate seasonal events and special attractions on the farm Handle customer concerns with professionalism and a hands-on approach Track sales, expenses, and labor costs to maintain profitability Lead by example — energetic, reliable, and willing to pitch in wherever needed Qualifications Proven experience as a General Manager, Kitchen Manager, or similar leadership role in food service or hospitality Strong background in restaurant or cook operations — smoking meats, sides, and Southern-style cooking preferred Familiarity with Cracker Barrel-style operations (restaurant + retail combo) a plus Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Comfortable working weekends and during busy seasonal events Compensation Pay is based on experience Competitive salary and growth potential for the right candidate How to Apply If you're ready to bring your hospitality and management experience to a one-of-a-kind Georgia destination, we'd love to hear from you.
