The Role The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) drives revenue growth across the Southeast Georgia portfolio by increasing the number of active advertisers and growing the value of each client relationship. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role. The RSM works alongside Account Executives in the market — joining client meetings, prospecting together, and supporting renewals and expansions. The job lives in the field, not behind a desk. The RSM reports to the Regional Publisher and partners with editorial, production, and marketing teams across all five markets. A sales team that manages its account math, not just its activity. Diversified, durable revenue with reduced concentration risk. Share-capture progress in flat markets like Tattnall, and demand-capture in fast-growth markets like Bryan and Effingham. Key ResponsibilitiesField Leadership Spend consistent time in the field with Account Executives on joint calls and prospecting days across all five counties. Model strong sales behaviors in live client situations. Own the relationship with high-value and strategic accounts, including those tied to the Hyundai megasite and surrounding growth corridor. Coach in real time, before and after client calls. Personally close and expand key accounts. Revenue Execution Grow the number of active advertisers through disciplined prospecting. Increase average account spend through multi-product solutions — print, digital, events, and ChartLocal-fulfilled marketing services — and longer-term agreements. Manage dual pipelines:
new accounts and expansion revenue. Build and execute a systemized political advertising plan across all five counties, with Liberty County prioritized as the highest-opportunity political market. Coach the team around account math. Broaden the advertiser base to reduce revenue concentration risk. Operations Lead and coach Account Executives across multiple properties. Execute regional sales plans aligned with company Rocks. Use CRM and sales data to drive coaching and strategy. Collaborate with editorial, production, ChartLocal fulfillment, and marketing to align revenue execution. Participate in Level 10 (L10) leadership meetings and contribute to scorecard accountability, issues resolution, and quarterly Rock execution. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3 years in sales leadership, revenue strategy, or media advertising. Track record of growing revenue and managing high-performing sales teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with CRM platforms and the ability to turn data into coaching and strategy. Alignment with our core values. Preferred Experience leading sales teams across multiple locations or business units. Background in local media, digital advertising, or multi-product sales. Familiarity with EOS / Traction operating principles. Experience selling or managing political advertising campaigns. Travel & Schedule Regular travel across Bulloch, Bryan, Effingham, Tattnall, and Liberty counties; mileage reimbursement provided. Occasional evening and weekend availability for client meetings and community events. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
