Job Description

Are you a professional in Agriculture? Do you have a passion for selling seed?
AGRILAND FS
looking for a leader to train, coach and lead the marketing efforts of agronomy sales people to grow our seed business in an assigned territory.
Core responsibilities:
Profitable seed and trait sales growth Leading, training and coaching agronomy salespeople to market seed Interact with key seed customers and prospects regularly Conduct sales calls and targeted grower meetings with Crop Specialists Develop and train Crop Specialists on seed selling technique and product information Develop, implement, and guide seed marketing activities throughout the year, with a focus on customer retention and expanding the number of seed customers What we need from you: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 5-7 years of sales experience prefer an agriculture major Technical experience with seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products Knowledge of market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply forecasts in the seed industry Skilled in sales leadership, closing techniques, and working in a team-oriented environment Professional communication, time management, decision-making, and organizational skills Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and able to travel overnight, on a limited basis Able to lift seed bags up to 70 pounds What we offer our team: A company vehicle Solid retirement future with a 100% company-funded Pension Plan at no cost to you, plus an additional 401k with company match Paid time off, sick pay, and paid holidays Competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more Opportunity to make an immediate impact with a strong team dedicated to success Excellent products to promote using a three brand strategy
