Business Development Representative Our client is looking for a Business Development Representative for the Des Moines market.
Pay:
(Base + Commission)
Hours:
8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Job Responsibilities:
Creating new business opportunities by developing relationships with key decision makers. Prospecting and qualifying new target accounts in your assigned territory (in person cold calls, phone calls and social media research). Scheduling appointments with prospects and clients. Making presentations & closing the sale. Organizing day-to-day sales activity, optimizing productivity. Successfully negotiating contract terms with new clients. Maintain proper documentation of all required client files. Meet daily, weekly, quarterly and years sales activity goals. Working with a team to meet objectives. Documenting daily activity.
Requirements:
6-18 months business development exp. (b2b sales). Associates or bachelor's degree preferred, NOT required. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation & proof of insurance. A competitive attitude. Problem solving and negotiating skills. Ability to hold a conversation, listen and overcome objections (critical thinking). Ability to work independently and meet goals.
