base salary with annual bonus, bonus target for Directors around 15%.
Direct reports:
3 direct sales (Idaho, Texas, Florida/Georgia) and 3 customer service.
USA Travel:
Plan on average 1 week a month.

Sales Manager FAMCO's Sales Manager will lead and oversee the initiatives and strategies for increasing national revenue. The Sales Manager will be an integral member of our management team as the leader who is driving the success of our Manufacturer's Representative partners and direct accounts while setting short- and long-term sales growth strategies. Major areas of responsibility also include:
Growth and Customer Focus:
Support positive relationships with a team of Manufacturer's Rep groups to establish and exceed sales and profit goals Create and execute focused strategies for increasing sales with house accounts and web sales Develop the company's sales processes and commission compensation structures in partnership with management Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential in existing and emerging markets, both residential and commercial Plan, develop, and execute training with sales representatives on FAMCO's line of HVAC accessories, strategic promotional activities, and event planning to build customer relationships and boost sales across the nation Gain knowledge of competitors' products and share this information with key leaders to build strategies around increasing market share
Leadership:
Facilitates training and ensures support resources are in place to develop and empower the sales teams' capability of selling the full scope of offerings available Builds and fosters a team environment between FAMCO and the Manufacturer's Reps Solicits support from and communicates effectively with internal staff Active participation and joint ownership of new product development. Create and manage the process for effective product launches
Operational Excellence:
Drive increased proficiency with HVAC applications/ tools across the sales teams Collaborate with Operations to establish performance criteria to meet and exceed customer expectations
Strategy & Planning:
Development and execution of multi-year sales strategy to meet business objectives Highly engaged leadership role in business reviews, cross functional meetings to drive business objectives, e.g. monthly operating reviews, sales & operations planning, etc. Understanding of how market dynamics and industry trends may affect business needs Key contributor to annual financial plan and 5-year strategic planning process Participates in or manages online sales strategy
Qualifications:
5-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience 2-3 years supervisory experience Robust track record of creating and managing a Manufacturer's Representative network Experience in HVAC or adjacent industries preferred Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to influence team members outside reporting line Strong planning, problem solving, project management, negotiation and decision-making skills Highly organized and process focused, able to clearly prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects and implement sustainable processes Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel Willing and able to travel 20%+ across the US to support the development and management of a national Manufacturer's Rep network. Demonstrated history of going above and beyond for the team and customers

$120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

What size of budget have you typically managed? Right now, this position will manage a $2M budget. A strategic focus of this position is growing market share. If not clear on your resume, what position/role have you had where you made the most impact on market share? This position will also help pilot a "contractor pull through strategy" for Idaho, and if it works, implement in the other states. What type of experience do you have (if any) growing sales via a "contractor pull through" strategy? What sales related achievement most proud of? What industry experience or knowledge do you have that relates to HVAC / building materials? Since this position will focus on team leadership, process, and strategy (as well as obvious market share growth) teamwork and collaboration is key, so we have strategically structured the compensation to be base salary with an initial bonus target around 15%, so please factor that into your base salary ask. For this type of role, what are you looking for base salary wise? Please confirm you understand the position is based in Nampa Idaho? (very central in the Treasure Valley outside of Boise Idaho!)
