General Manager, Sales Operations Manager

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Cannabis Retail General Manager with experience in the Cannabis industry, to join our team. In this role, you will support the owners in overseeing all retail daily operations, driving sales, supporting the marketing and operational needs, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for Cannabis retail, and the ability to foster a positive work environment. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, inventory, and store performance while contributing to the overall success of our retail location. Responsibilities anaging daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Supervise and train staff, providing employee orientation and ongoing development opportunities. Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control. Handle cash management tasks including cash handling, payroll processing, and bookkeeping. Engage in recruiting efforts by conducting interviews and selecting qualified candidates for open positions. Implement effective sales strategies to achieve store goals while maintaining high standards of customer service. Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Utilize POS systems for transactions and maintain accurate sales records. Collaborate with the Store Manager on budgeting and financial planning to optimize profitability. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and conflict resolution. Experience Proven experience in Cannabis retail management or as an assistant manager is required. Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with retail math concepts such as pricing, budgeting, and sales management. Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership roles. Experience with inventory management systems and merchandising practices. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus to enhance customer interactions. Proficiency in administrative tasks including time management and organizational skills.
