Job Description

Senior Sales Director Paper Compensation The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At ND Paper, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. At ND Paper, we are investing in our future, and that starts with our staff. The Senior Sales Director position will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales. This role is responsible for effectively developing and managing the sale of all paper products and market Pulp to packaging converters, box plants, pulp consumers, and Printing & Writing Customers. The direct and in-direct sales process has a keen focus on meeting contribution goals and driving the profitability and operational objectives of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and develop key accounts throughout the US that purchase Packaging products, Market Pulp, and Printing and Writing CustomersResponsible for developing key strategic accounts and meeting sales objectivesDevelop a 12-month rolling forecast for assigned customer and prospect lists Establish long term reliable relationships with key contacts in accounts, working to always establish last look at existing or future businessEstablish ND Paper as the solution provider within the assigned regionAdvocate on behalf of customers within context of protecting the companys goodwill, reputation and viabilityProvide insight, intelligence and expertise that complement the SVP's Sales & Marketing strategiesMaintain on going relationships with existing business accountsResponsible for communicating any issues, concerns and achievements to direct supervisorSupport production planners to optimize schedulesSupport Credit team with problematic collection activitiesSupport Product development efforts within the companySupport the distribution function by assisting in managing customer expectations and behaviors to optimize freight and manufacturing costsTravel as needed throughout assigned territory to both current and prospective customers
Required Experience:
