Wholesale Sales Manager Employment Type:

Retail / Specialty Crafts (Yarn, Knitting, Fiber Arts) Overview We are seeking a creative and relationship-driven Wholesale Sales Manager to lead and grow wholesale partnerships across North America. This role blends sales, product expertise, and community building , ideal for someone passionate about yarn, knitting, and retail. You'll manage the full sales cycle—from new product launches to post-sale support—while building strong, long-term relationships with retail partners. Key Responsibilities Sales & Account Management Manage and grow wholesale accounts across North America Build relationships with new and existing retail partners Drive new business through outreach and account development Oversee the full sales cycle from introduction to post-sale support Product & Customer Engagement Educate customers on products, patterns, and new launches Communicate promotions via email, webinars, and marketing materials Gather and share customer feedback to improve offerings Ensure timely order fulfillment and customer response Marketing & Collaboration Partner with marketing to develop product launches and retail strategies Support the creation of marketing materials and merchandising solutions Assist in developing consumer-facing events such as classes, workshops, and retreats Operations & Team Collaboration Work closely with fulfillment, warehouse, and customer service teams Maintain a high level of service and operational efficiency Support a collaborative, creative, and high-energy team environment Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field Proven experience in sales or account management Strong understanding of retail, merchandising, and product strategy Knowledge of yarn, knitting, crochet, or fiber arts strongly preferred Additional Details Full-time, office-based role Some travel is required for trade shows and client meetings Reports to executive leadership Compensation based on experience and qualifications
