Woodridge, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description Position Purpose:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for aftermarket products is responsible for working with product lines sold through Original Equipment Suppliers (OES) and independent channels within the designated territory.
Essential Functions:
Act as the primary sales contact for distributors, repair facilities, and OES dealers. Work with the company's supply chain to pull Hendrickson Genuine parts through national warehouse distributors (NWD) and OES programs. Organizing technical and/or sales training for repair technicians, dealer personnel, distribution personnel, and other parties as needed regarding the company's proper use and features of products. Responsible for maximizing aftermarket sales to existing direct and indirect accounts within the assigned territory. Responsible for generating new sales leads to increase revenue. Manages assigned territory through regular visits, calls, and other means of communication to achieve Hendrickson product preference. Responsible for keeping management apprised of all significant opportunities and market developments. Complete call reports, activity reports, and expense reports on a timely basis and as required by company policy and practice. Resolve customer issues that may include, but is not limited to warranty, price discrepancies, credit, etc. Attends and/or leads industry trade shows, open houses, etc. as directed by management. Other duties as assigned. Education and Training Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum Qualifications A minimum of 5 years in territory sales required. Ability to travel around 75% of the time. Currently resides within or willing to relocate to the assigned territory. Experience selling in the heavy-duty truck or trailer industry is strongly preferred or experience in industrial sales or marketing is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to present using computer-based presentation software is required. Ability to manage the full scope of a territory is required.
