Business Development Manager
  • Elkhart, IN A well-established manufacturing corporation of vehicle electronics and diagnostic equipment serving industries such as Off-Highway, Bus & Coach, Truck & Fleet, Marine, and Specialty Vehicles is seeking a Quality Manager to join our team in Elkhart, IN.
With over 30 years of industry experience and part of a global organization headquartered in International group based in Toulouse, France, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and continuous innovation. Position Summary We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Elkhart, IN. The Business Development Manager drives actions required to develop the Electronics business and sales in North America linked to existing products, product families or new products and services to be developed that fit into the corporation strategy. This position requires experience in a variety of industries and requires a thorough knowledge of the industry's in-vehicle/machine products and/or services as well as electronic markets and not limited to automotive.

Job Specific Competencies:
Sales & Marketing Promote in-vehicle network products and onboard electronics across North America Develop and execute targeted sales and marketing strategies Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing Conduct sales presentations and attend industry trade shows Maintain strong knowledge of products, services, and competitors Generate leads through networking, referrals, and industry connections Identify and qualify new business opportunities Business Development Expand presence into new markets Analyze market trends, competitive products, and pricing Support development of new products and services Lead RFQ processes through final negotiation Collaboration Build relationships with new and existing customers Partner with customer engineering teams to understand requirements Coordinate with internal departments including technical support, accounting, and sales Maintain strategic partnerships and alliances Legal Compliance Ensure adherence to all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements Maintain compliance with ISO standards and company policies Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5-7 years of successful business development or sales experience Experience across multiple industries preferred Skills & Expertise Strong technical background in electronics and/or automotive markets Proven sales and business development experience Excellent communication and presentation skills Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven High level of integrity and professionalism Working Conditions Movement
