Job Description

Overview We are seeking a results-driven Automotive General Sales Manager to lead our dealership's sales operations with energy and expertise. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who can motivate a sales team, develop innovative strategies, and drive high-end vehicle sales through exceptional customer service and effective management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive sales, B2B (business-to-business) interactions, and sales management, with the ability to foster a positive environment that encourages growth and exceeds targets. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the dealership's success by leveraging your skills in negotiation, inventory control, and marketing to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Duties Lead, motivate, and manage the automotive sales team to achieve and surpass monthly sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand the dealership's market presence, including outreach through outbound sales, cold calling, and B2B networking Oversee inventory management and control to ensure optimal stock levels of high-end vehicles aligned with market demand Utilize CRM software to track sales pipelines, monitor customer interactions, and analyze data for continuous improvement in sales performance Conduct negotiations with customers and business partners to close deals effectively while upholding dealership policies and profitability goals Organize and deliver public speaking presentations to promote dealership offerings at events or community engagements Support the sales team with upselling techniques, retail math calculations, and retail sales strategies to maximize revenue opportunities Maintain excellent phone etiquette during outbound calls, ensuring clear communication that builds trust and rapport with clients Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that attract high-end clientele through targeted outreach and brand positioning Skills Proven experience in automobile sales, retail sales, or dealership management with a focus on high-end vehicles Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual capabilities preferred) Expertise in B2B sales strategies, outbound calling, cold calling, and building a robust sales pipeline Proficiency with CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities Exceptional organizational skills for inventory control, inventory management, and retail math calculations Outstanding customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and public speaking abilities Ability to lead a team effectively through motivation, coaching, and performance management Knowledge of automotive industry trends, marketing techniques, inventory management systems, and retail math principles Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us as our Automotive General Sales Manager and be at the forefront of driving success through energetic leadership, strategic innovation, and exceptional customer engagement.
