Job Description

Overview Ignite the growth and success of a brand-new Hampton Inn & Suites opening in Fall 2026. Lodging One Hospitality Management is seeking an experienced and energetic Director of Sales to lead revenue growth for this new 105-room Hampton Inn & Suites, conveniently located within walking distance of Kansas State University. In this dynamic leadership role, you will drive revenue through innovative sales strategies, cultivate strong relationships with clients and partners, and elevate the hotel's presence within the market. Your leadership will inspire the sales team to exceed goals, leverage modern marketing and sales tools, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality sales professional to make a lasting impact in a fast-paced, growing environment. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue across all market segments, including corporate, leisure, group, and event business. Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team goals through coaching, training, and performance management. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, travel agencies, and event organizers to generate new business opportunities. Oversee outside sales efforts by identifying prospects, conducting presentations, and negotiating contracts aligned with hotel objectives. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and attract diverse customer segments. Utilize CRM and sales tools, including Salesforce, to track leads, manage accounts, analyze sales performance, and optimize outreach efforts. Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and innovative business development strategies. Requirements Proven leadership experience in hospitality sales or a related industry, with a strong preference for hotel sales experience. Demonstrated success in outside sales, negotiation, account management, and business development. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a customer-focused culture centered on exceptional service. Proficiency in marketing strategies, hotel management systems, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and adapt strategies for maximum results. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a talent for persuasive negotiation and personalized client service. A proactive, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about exceeding sales goals and driving business growth. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
