#INDISG We're looking for a driven and relationship-focused Area Sales Manager to grow customer partnerships and expand industrial service opportunities within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for identifying customer needs, developing strategic sales plans, and delivering service solutions that support operational performance and long-term business growth. What You'll Do Identify and pursue potential customers that align with company growth strategies and market objectives. Develop and maintain strategic sales plans for assigned target accounts and territories. Build relationships with key decision-makers through research, networking, and direct customer engagement. Achieve assigned revenue and profitability goals through consistent sales activity and account development. Evaluate customer operational needs and match services that provide measurable value and performance improvement. Plan, coordinate, and execute customer sales calls, meetings, and presentations. Prepare professional proposals, quotes, bids, and Job Data Sheets (JDS) in alignment with company standards. Maintain an active presence within assigned facilities and job sites to strengthen customer relationships and identify new opportunities. Collaborate with operations, management, and support teams to ensure successful service execution and customer satisfaction. Monitor competitive activity and position company services effectively to gain new business opportunities. Utilize tools such as LinkedIn, internet research, industry resources, and company-generated leads to develop new accounts. Manage existing customer relationships while continuously developing new business opportunities within the territory. Identify emerging industrial service opportunities that support company growth and performance objectives. Maintain accurate sales activity records, forecasts, and communication within company systems. Travel throughout assigned territories to support customer meetings, job walks, presentations, and business development efforts. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You'll Need Associate or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. 5-7 years of outside sales experience, preferably within an industrial, environmental, or service-based industry. Strong understanding of industrial processes, customer operations, and solution-based selling techniques. Experience preparing and presenting quotes, proposals, and pricing strategies to customers. Knowledge of sales methodologies, negotiation techniques, and consultative selling practices such as SPIN selling. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, leadership, and internal teams. Flexibility to adapt within a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including visits to customer sites, industrial facilities, and field locations. Ability to work in industrial environments requiring walking, standing, climbing stairs, and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
