In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth through strategic planning, relationship building, and effective negotiation. You will leverage your expertise in business development and project management to identify new opportunities and enhance customer relationships, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our organization. MUST live in the Grand Rapids Kalamazzo. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives. M UST have no less than 5 years of OUTSIDE sales experience. Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research and networking. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Utilize Salesforce and other CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data. Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that align with business goals. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable partnerships. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making. Lead project management efforts for new initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with company standards. Qualifications Proven experience in business development or sales, with a strong track record of achieving targets. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is essential for managing client relationships effectively. Strong skills in strategic planning, negotiation, and customer relationship management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. A background in marketing is a plus, providing insight into effective promotional strategies. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not required based on experience.
