Best-Aire is a leader in the distribution of industrial and mechanical equipment. From our 6 locations, Best-Aire is the expert in the sales and service of air compressors, air dryers, and blowers and we offer a full-service center to repair all brands of compressed air equipment. There are many opportunities for growth in our team environment. Position Summary The New Business Development Manager is responsible for driving company growth by identifying, developing, and securing new customer relationships. This role focuses exclusively on acquiring new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, lead generation, and consultative selling. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record of opening new accounts and building long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories and target markets. Prospect potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, industry events, and digital outreach. Schedule and conduct customer meetings to understand operational needs and present company solutions. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified prospects. Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements. Track all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the company CRM system. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements while maintaining profitability objectives. Meet or exceed established sales goals, revenue targets, and new account acquisition metrics. Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Position has a base salary, travel allowance, plus commission.
