Job Description

Regional Sales Manger Job Summary:
Region will be determined by candidate's location or ability to relocate. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing strategic customer relationships within the assigned territory. This role focuses on working directly with distribution to sell automation systems, robotic cells, vibratory/centrifugal mass finishing equipment, compound and media to OEMs, manufacturers, and industrial customers. The ideal candidate has strong technical sales experience in industrial automation and understands manufacturing processes, ROI-based selling, and capital equipment cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Development Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in manufacturing and industrial markets.
Manage full sales cycle:
prospecting, needs analysis, proposal development, negotiation, and closing. Achieve or exceed annual revenue and gross margin targets Develop long-term customer relationships with engineering, operations, and executive leadership. Technical & Solution Selling Present automation solutions - including robotics, motion control, CNC integration, and turnkey systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized proposals. Conduct plant visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations. Provide ROI analysis and capital justification support for customers. Account Management Manage and grow existing key accounts. Track and report pipeline activity using CRM system. Forecast revenue and maintain accurate sales projections. Support post-sale customer satisfaction and repeat business. Market Intelligence Monitor industry trends in automation, robotics, and manufacturing technology. Analyze competitor activity and pricing strategies. Identify emerging market opportunities and verticals.
Qualifications:
Required 5+ years of industrial sales experience (automation, robotics, mass finishing equipment, or capital equipment) Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Ability to travel within assigned region (30 - 50%) Preferred Experience selling robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Kawasaki). Knowledge of control systems such as Rockwell Automation. Experience with vibratory finishing, automated cells, or turnkey integration CRM proficiency. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field would be beneficial but not required.
