•The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 annual base pay + monthly commission/bonus earning potential. We are looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Territory Manager to join our Residential & Landscape Contractor Equipment (RLC) team in Eastern Michigan. As a Territory Manager, you'll serve as the face of Spartan Turf Products and Toro within your territory, helping dealers grow their businesses, introducing innovative equipment solutions, and building strong partnerships that drive long-term success. What You'll Do Develop and strengthen relationships with existing power equipment dealers while identifying and onboarding new dealer partners. Drive sales growth by presenting Toro programs, recommending inventory solutions, booking preseason orders, and managing reorder opportunities. Become the local expert on Toro walk mowers, zero-turn mowers, landscape contractor equipment, and snow products. Conduct product demonstrations and train dealer personnel on new equipment and programs. Build relationships with landscape contractors, municipalities, and industry influencers to increase market share and brand awareness. Create and deliver compelling presentations to dealers, contractors, and industry groups. Collaborate with dealers on merchandising, advertising, promotions, and rebate programs. Support dealer marketing efforts, including social media and local promotional initiatives. Forecast sales activity and develop strategic territory growth plans. Represent Spartan Turf Products and Toro at trade shows, customer events, and industry conferences. What We're Looking For Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and drive sales growth Excellent communication and presentation skills Self-motivated with strong organizational and territory management abilities Comfortable operating and demonstrating commercial equipment Ability to tow a trailer and transport equipment throughout the territory Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel throughout Eastern Michigan, including occasional overnight travel (approximately one to two weeks annually) Preferred Qualifications Two- or four-year degree in Business, Landscaping, Horticulture, Turf Management, or a related field Two to four years of experience in: Outdoor power equipment, Landscaping or turf industries, Municipal or grounds maintenance, Golf course maintenance, Consumer packaged goods sales, or Equipment dealership operations Physical Requirements This position requires a combination of driving, customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and event participation. Candidates must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and occasionally lift or move 50-75 pounds, including loading equipment and operating trailer ramps. Why Spartan Turf Products?
