Job Description

Sales Manager Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center Plymouth, Michigan Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Manager to join our events team. This role is responsible for generating and closing event business across weddings, social events, and corporate functions, while delivering an exceptional client experience from initial inquiry through booking. Fox Hills is a high-volume, multi-venue property hosting a wide range of events each season. This role plays a key part in driving revenue and building lasting client relationships, with the opportunity to grow into more complex and larger-scale events over time. Position Overview The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a book of business and driving event revenue through proactive sales efforts, client relationship management, and successful event conversions. This role will initially focus on smaller social events and weddings, with a structured ramp-up into larger and more complex events as experience with the property grows. Key Responsibilities Generate new business through inbound inquiries, outbound outreach, referrals, and networking Conduct property tours and client consultations to showcase event spaces and offerings Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals across weddings, social, and corporate events Manage a pipeline of prospective clients and maintain accurate records in CRM systems Prepare proposals, pricing, and contracts in alignment with club guidelines Collaborate with the events and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to execution Support event detailing as needed to ensure a high-quality client experience Stay informed on local market trends, competition, and opportunities for business growth Qualifications 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality, events, or a related field Proven ability to generate and close business Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and timelines Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Availability to work weekends consistently Compensation Base salary: $40,000 Commission structure based on booked and executed events Target total compensation in the range of $50,000 - $55,000 in year one, with growth opportunity based on performance

$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
