SALES MANAGER, ADVANCED SALES

As a member of the Sales team, the Manager, Advanced Sales•North America will be responsible forleading customer and/or product initiatives to drive profitable sales growth in key Connection Systems technology.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Generates new customer inquiries through technology shows and targeted presentations working closely with engineering and marketing. Attends key customer events promoting growth.Develops "Why Lear?" message for product portfolio; develops initial sales strategies for new/under represented product lines.

Drives Long Range Revenue Plan commitments. Establishes targets and roadmaps to achieve overall revenue growth by customer, product, and region.

Works with the product planning/marketing group to provide Voice of Customer and identify new markets/trends.

Ensures integration of our key technologies in future projects/programs. Promotes entire range of Lear E-Systems product portfolio.

Prepares analysis/executive summaries for business cases with recommendations for management.

Reviews business cases for correct and appropriate inputs; challenges team to constantly improve cost structure.

Standardizes business practices across the globe; collaborates with global team to ensure "One Lear" approach.

Member of global advanced sales group; builds/develops relationships with peers.

Resolves commercial issues for new and existing businessDevelop strong internal relationships to collectively work towards a common goal of creating customer valueDevelop and maintain a network of contacts and partners within key customers and suppliers across multiple functions (Engineering, Purchasing, Adv Development, etc.)
Your Qualifications:
Persistence to achieve revenue & profit goalsAbility to compile and present business cases for leadership approvalBusiness acumen including negotiation skills and understanding of financial business casesDemonstrated ability to communicate and convey product value propositions with customersAble to interface globally with sales teams and customersProven ability to work autonomously, manage large & varied workload, set priorities and close businessAbility to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independentlyResourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environmentUndergraduate degree preferable in technical disciplineAt least 5+ years sales experience as an account manager or technical sales engineer in the automotive industryPreferred Terminals and Connectors experienceExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsTeam player
