Job Description
Your role The Business Development Manager is strategic and forward-thinking with a long-term vision for providing new business opportunities within the Mobile Vacuum application in the region by using the existing and/or developing new product portfolio. The successful candidate will serve as an interface between internal and external customers, aiming for business success on both sides - that will be reflected in business growth, customer engagement, product penetration and a 360-degree customer experience. Job description Drive sustainable profitable growth with the customers (i.e. OEMs, end users, distributors) in strong collaboration with National Sales Manager (NSM), by driving the customer experience. Design and implement the business strategy based on analysis of the full potential and by supporting NSM in developing business opportunities in the current market segment. Initiate and develop market research plans. Perform end user interviews, site visits, and/or field testing. Provide customer input throughout the NPI process. Develop new market opportunities utilizing the existing product portfolio into different variants. Monitor and understand the market position through analysis of current sales results vs market potential, market trends and competitive landscape. Explore the full business potential of new market segments such as dry bulk, liquid transportation within the North America region. Follow and report to local management and Mobile Vacuum team about market trends, competition information, key highlights and lowlights and regulatory issues. Gather and monitor appropriate information on the market and feed this information into Program Management team in the preparation of new product and system master specifications. Management and submit the commercial plan to initiate New Product Introduction (NPI) to management. Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies together with Sales Management. Work together with Communication team for all marketing activities and brand communication. To succeed, you will need Experience requirements 5-10 years of experience in technical sales with a proven track record in sales and/or sales management, business development management or business line management. Specialist in the assigned product range or with relevant industry experience (i.e. truck, construction, utilities). A strong interest in dealer/distributor management, sales processes, and marketing. An understanding of the different success factors in the sales and dealer/distributor management strategies. Familiar with marketing research methodologies and tools is a plus.

The ability to work independently, but also as a member of a team. Educational requirements University degree - Technically and/or commercially oriented - or similar through experience. Additional requirements Proactive, dynamic performer with strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills always striving at new challenges and ideas. Willing to travel extensively in North America region. Ambitious personality with excellent commercial, diplomatic and negotiating skill. Able to manage people and create trustworthy and fair relations.
