Standard business hours with flexibility to meet client needs Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Automotive Internet Sales Manager to lead our Internet Sales Team. This role involves managing timely responses to internet sales leads, demonstrating vehicle features, qualifying buyers, and closing sales. The manager will oversee team coaching, recruitment, and coordination of digital sales processes to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Team Management:
Coach and support Internet Sales Representatives through side-by-side sales and performance reviews. Recruit and hire qualified staff for the Internet Sales Team.
Lead Management:
Respond promptly to internet sales leads and prioritize high-value contacts. Communicate inventory availability and ordering timelines to customers and staff. Manage internet appointments and reassign leads as needed. Utilize calls, texts, and emails to engage prospects and schedule appointments.
Performance Monitoring:
Review weekly and monthly closing percentages at the individual and store levels. Monitor response times and communication logs for quality assurance.
CRM Data Management:
Identify duplicate leads and ensure accurate data entry. Listen to phone calls for training and quality improvement purposes.
Reporting and Process Improvement:
Mark bad and lost leads appropriately on a daily and weekly basis. Provide monthly recommendations to the General Manager on lead effectiveness and digital tool usage. Participate in operations reviews as requested. Manage Internet lead round-robin statuses to accommodate staff leaves. Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores and key performance indicators (KPIs). Physical Requirements Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Ability to use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally. Regularly required to stand, talk, hear, walk, and sit. Potential exposure to exhaust fumes and airborne particles. Occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision. Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze business documents and technical information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports, correspondence, and presentations. Proven problem-solving skills in practical scenarios with limited standardization. Ability to follow and interpret various forms of instructions including written, oral, and scheduled tasks. Experience in managing sales teams and familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
