Plaisted Companies, Inc., the soil experts, is seeking a driven and visionary Sales Manager to lead and scale our sales organization. This role is responsible for accelerating revenue growth, building a high-performance sales team, and implementing modern sales systems that drive measurable results. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on accountability and results. Set clear performance expectations and track results through scorecards, CRM reporting, and analytics. Recruit, train, and mentor team members to drive continuous improvement. Revenue Growth & Strategy Develop and execute annual and long-term sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets. Identify new markets, verticals, and strategic opportunities for expansion. Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts to ensure retention and satisfaction. Sales Process & Systems Implement and optimize CRM systems to ensure pipeline visibility and data accuracy. Build scalable sales processes that improve efficiency and consistency across the team. Utilize data, analytics, and AI tools to improve forecasting, targeting, and performance. Marketing & Business Development Partner with marketing to drive lead generation, campaigns, and brand positioning. Conduct market analysis, competitive research, and pricing strategy development. Support prospecting efforts and assist in closing high-value opportunities. Operational Collaboration Work closely with Dispatch, Operations, and Accounting to ensure customer success. Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reporting to leadership. Contribute to budgeting, strategic planning, and company-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field. Three years minimum experience in sales management ( Proven ability to lead teams and drive revenue growth Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Experience with CRM systems and data-driven decision making Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Experience scaling sales teams and implementing structured processes Strong background in strategic planning and market expansion Experience leveraging CRM, analytics, and AI tools for sales optimization Knowledge of construction materials, aggregates, or related industries is a plus
