Promote sales in assigned territory using advanced and proven sales approaches and techniques. Canvas prospective new accounts. Demonstrate and assist with prospects in the selection of products or services best suited to their needs. Familiarize established accounts with new products and developments. Build regional business plans, quote prices, terms, negotiating agreements or similar information on new or repeat orders, subject to supervisor's approval. Chosen candidate will be responsible for selling vinyl dip molded, plastic injection molded and rubber molded components, closures, grips and tapes to a wide variety of market segments including automotive, appliance, electronics, medical and general industrial.
Territory covered:
NY, PA, VA, KY, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, FL, PR, CT, NJ, DE, MD.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Locate potential customers using research, directories and internet. Respond to inquiries resulting from marketing efforts. Contact customers by telephone, e-mail and personal visits and persuade customers to purchase MOCAP products. Communicate verbally and through written correspondence with customers regarding their inquiries for pricing, products, applications, information, quotes, etc. Assist customer service and customers with first time orders; verify and confirm that products requested are sized correctly for customer needs; request purchase order, credit references, and tax information. Suggest quotation for new tooling and special situations; submit to sales manager for approval; act as liaison between manufacturing and the customer for the prototype development. Maintain an organized schedule and paperwork to ensure customers are responded to promptly and accurately. Build annual business plan for the region with monthly and quarterly updates. Fulfill sample requests; send sample to customer with written correspondence. Review incoming customer requests; evaluate customer components to determine MOCAP part specifications. Attend sales meetings and occasional trade shows. Make sales trips within assigned territory as necessary to develop existing customers and to prospect for new accounts. Estimate 15-20% travel required. Learn new product applications and inform Sales Manager of new, potential uses for MOCAP products. Increasing sales to existing/established customer base. Prospecting & new customer acquisition. Pricing, bid preparation & quotations. Exceeding assigned revenue targets. Executing all responsibilities in a timely and flawless manner. Qualifications BS, BA or relevant experience preferred Enthusiastic, customer-oriented and professional demeanor Possess a strong work ethic, very good people skills and willingness to learn 2+ Years sales experience preferred Excellent communication skills necessary Proficient with common business and software packages Proven track record of sales success via prospecting and funnel management within
CRM Physical Demands & Environmental Conditions:
This role requires regular sitting, walking, talking, stooping, reaching, and feeling, with clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. The position may involve occasional lifting of heavy objects weighing 60 lbs. or more and unpacking crates at trade shows. Work is performed primarily in normal office conditions.
Compensation:
