The Sales/Meeting Connections Manager is an entry-level, fullypetent individual who has experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Selling guest rooms, meeting space & other Hyatt services to customer groups Managing accounts Conducting site inspections Solicit & generate business Client entertaining Travel to tradeshows Sales calls Preparing & presenting effective proposals Maintaining wellanized documentation & reports Utilize Hyatt systems & coordinate customer service requirements as appropriate Participate/may lead event meetings & sales meetings Works as a team member with the sales & catering staff as well as with assigned admin assistants & other support staff Why Hyatt Regency St. Louis? Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment Refined verbal and writtenmunication skills 1-2 years of hotel sales orparable experience preferred Must be proficient in generalputer knowledge Preferpletion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
