They are seeking a Director of Survey to lead their surveying division, drive business growth, and develop their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic leadership capabilities, strong business development acumen, and a commitment to mentoring and growing high-performing teams. Job Responsibilities - Establish strategic direction for the survey division, setting performance targets and driving departmental growth objectives Build and develop a high-performing survey team through mentoring, coaching, and professional development initiatives Drive business development efforts to expand client relationships, identify new revenue opportunities, and grow market share Manage key client accounts, serve as primary contact for major contracts, and oversee contract negotiations and relationship maintenance Oversee project delivery, resource allocation, and team assignments to ensure quality outcomes and client satisfaction Manage departmental budget, financial performance, and profitability metrics aligned with company growth targets Stay current with industry practices, technical advances, and surveying methodologies, champion excellence across the team Coordinate across departments to support integrated project delivery and foster a collaborative divisional culture Job Requirements - 12+ years of experience in survey operations and project delivery with demonstrated success in leadership or management roles Deep knowledge of survey practices, engineering principles, and industry standards with ability to mentor others Proven track record of business development success, client relationship management, and revenue growth Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with experience developing and coaching professional staff Active professional license in surveying or engineering required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels Experience building and scaling departments or teams preferred Advanced degree or executive leadership training preferred
