Job Description

Business Development Center (BDC) Manager Mr. Mike's Home Repair - Jacksonville, NC Mr. Mike's Home Repair is a Christian-owned and operated company that values Faith, family, integrity, honesty, professionalism, and a positive attitude. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs and alcohol use in the workplace. We are currently seeking a highly organized, driven, and professional Business Development Center (BDC) Manager to help us build and lead a brand-new department within our growing company. This is not a large corporate call center role. At this time, this position will be a one-person department responsible for helping create structure, consistency, communication systems, scheduling coordination, and customer follow-up processes as the company continues to grow. This position is fully in-office and is NOT a remote position. Position Overview The BDC Manager will serve as a central communication and coordination point for the company. This role will be responsible for managing incoming calls, customer communication, scheduling, lead follow-up, appointment coordination, and technician follow-up processes across multiple crews and projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing many moving parts simultaneously in a fast-paced service environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes, solving problems, and helping create structure within a growing company. Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming customer calls Schedule appointments and coordinate technician calendars Manage scheduling for approximately 10 technicians across multiple weeks Follow up on all incoming leads and inquiries Follow up with customers after technician visits and completed jobs Help improve customer communication and customer experience processes Coordinate communication between office staff, technicians, and customers Help organize scheduling systems and operational workflows Track leads, appointments, and follow-up activity Assist with project coordination and communication Help identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements Support company growth through organization, consistency, and communication Required Experience Candidates MUST have experience in one or more of the following: Project Management Property Management Experience in fast-paced scheduling, operations coordination, service industries, construction, home services, or customer management is highly preferred.
