Job Description
The District Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and people management of multiple retail store locations within an assigned geographic area. This role drives sales growth, ensures operational excellence, and develops store leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving company objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Performance Drive district-wide sales and profitability by setting clear goals and monitoring KPIs (sales, labor, shrink, etc.) Analyze performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results Ensure consistent execution of promotional and merchandising strategies Operations Management Ensure all stores operate in compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards Conduct regular store visits/audits to evaluate execution, cleanliness, merchandising, and customer experience Partner with store managers to resolve operational challenges and improve efficiencies People Leadership & Development Recruit, train, and develop high-performing store managers and teams Provide coaching, performance feedback, and succession planning Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and employee engagement Customer Experience Champion a strong customer-first culture across all locations Ensure consistent delivery of excellent service and brand standards Address customer concerns and identify opportunities to enhance the shopping experience Financial Management Manage district budgets, payroll, and expenses to maximize profitability Monitor inventory, shrink, and loss prevention practices Identify opportunities to improve cost control and efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience 3-7+ years of retail management experience (multi-unit preferred) Proven track record of driving sales and operational excellence Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel regularly within assigned region Key Competencies Results-driven mindset Leadership and team development Strategic thinking and execution Business and financial acumen Strong organizational and time management skills
