Not a clipboard coordinator. Not someone waiting for leads to magically convert. We're looking for the kind of person who walks into a room and instantly builds trust. Someone who can guide couples through one of the biggest decisions of their lives, create excitement, handle objections naturally, and confidently ask for the sale. At the Pines Weddings & Events, we don't sell "venue rentals." We create unforgettable experiences, and we're looking for someone exceptional to help fill our calendar with them. We are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven sales professional to lead wedding and event sales for one of the region's premier venues. This is not a traditional desk job. This is the chance for someone who thrives on connecting with people, creating excitement, building trust quickly, and confidently guiding clients toward booking one of the biggest events of their lives. If you love sales, hospitality, relationships, and high-energy environments — this could be an incredible fit. This role offers substantial flexibility and autonomy. However, availability matters. Many clients tour in the evenings, in the offseason on Fridays and Saturdays, summer Sundays, and occasionally on short notice. We believe responsiveness and accessibility directly impact bookings, and we strive to be available when our clients are ready. Some weekly office hours and team collaboration time will also be expected to: Stay aligned with marketing efforts Understand venue operations Collaborate on upcoming events Maintain team culture and communication Compensation includes: Base salary Aggressive commission structure Strong upside for high performers

Relevant Notes:
This role is not expected to regularly work weddings Tours are generally not conducted during active events Wedding attendance may occasionally occur for training and experience purposes
Compensation:
$70,000-$110,000
Expected Earnings Responsibilities:
Your primary mission is simple: Fill the calendar with the right events at the right price. You will be responsible for both inbound and outbound sales efforts for: Weddings, Elopements, Corporate events, Non-profit events, Off-season and weekday opportunities, and creative revenue-generating event concepts.
This role is approximately:
85% Lead Management, Tours, and Sales 15% Client Management & Event Support Your responsibilities will be: Respond to and manage all inbound inquiries Give exceptional in-person and virtual tours Build genuine client relationships Follow up consistently and confidently Create urgency and excitement Guide couples and clients through the decision-making and booking process Help clients envision their event at The Pines Manage and support corporate event execution Collaborate with marketing and operations teams Identify new opportunities and partnerships Help maximize booking revenue Help maintain an exceptional customer experience from inquiry to event day We want clients to feel like: "These are my people. Qualifications Required:
