Dual Social Events Sales Manager Holiday Inn - Cherry Hill - 1.0 Cherry Hill, NJ Job Details Full-time 14 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Employee discount Life insurance Qualifications Sales negotiation Guest relations Event coordination Event visual design Customer inquiry handling Business development Attention to detail Sales strategy Full Job Description The Dual Social Events Sales Manager is responsible for generating and managing catering and event sales such as: Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Bar mitzvahs, Bat mitzvahs, Family Reunions, Baby Showers, Quinceaneras, birthday parties, etc. for both Holiday Inn Cherry Hill and DoubleTree by Hilton Mt. Laurel. This role focuses on securing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring successful planning and execution of meetings, corporate events, social functions, and group bookings. The position works closely with leadership and operations teams at both properties to maximize revenue and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new catering and event business for both hotel properties Responding to inquiries and convert leads into confirmed events
  • Conduct property site tours for prospective clients
  • Prepare proposals, contracts & BEOs.
  • Coordinate event details from initial booking through event execution
  • Collaborate with operations and banquet teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and activity reports
  • Achieve and exceed catering and event revenue goals
  • Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and planners
  • Attend networking and community events representing both hotels
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and strategy discussions
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and hotel policies Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel catering, events, or hospitality sales experience
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Experience with hotel sales systems (Delphi, Opera, or similar preferred)
  • Ability to travel between both properties as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service focus Reporting Structure
  • Reports directly to the Director of Sales on both properties.
  • Works closely with Operations, Banquets, and Front Office teams at both hotels
  • Both DOSMs will collaborate on scheduling, reporting, monitoring performance, and maintaining accountability. Performance Expectations
  • Meet monthly and quarterly event revenue goals
  • Increase catering and events market share for both properties
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and service standards
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all leads and client communication Work Environment
  • Dual-property role supporting both hotels
  • Combination of office work, client meetings, and on-site event support
  • Some evenings and weekends are required based on event schedule
