Job Description

Role Description As an A&D Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in driving specifications and expanding business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include building relationships with architects, designers, and specification professionals, while educating the A&D community on product offerings through presentations, CEU programs, in-person trainings, and ongoing support. This role also focuses on driving product specifications on projects and building long-term brand awareness. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, specifiers, and design firms within the assigned territory. Travel regularly to architectural and design firms for meetings, presentations, trainings, and project support. Conduct in-person and virtual CEU presentations and product training sessions. Help develop new CEU courses and educational presentation content for the A&D community. Educate the A&D community on product lines, applications, and solutions. Assist architects and designers with product specifications, layouts, and technical product information. Collaborate with dealers, sales representatives, and internal teams to support project opportunities. Identify and develop specification opportunities that lead to increased sales and market penetration. Maintain regular activity reporting and CRM updates. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in commercial furniture or related A&D sales. Strong presentation and public speaking skills. Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with architects, designers, and end users. Knowledge of commercial furniture specifications and the design process preferred. Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
