Join Our Team, a leader in the ceramic tile industry. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Vice President of Sales to lead and elevate our sales Department across both coasts. The Vice President of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for owning the company's sales execution, customer relationships, and overall commercial organization. This position will lead all sales initiatives across commercial, A&D, e-commerce, and brick-and-mortar channels, with full accountability for revenue performance and market expansion. This leader must balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring operational excellence while driving revenue and customer success. Customer & Revenue Ownership Own relationships across key customer segments: Big Box, Dealer network, Commercial/A&D, and E-commerce Drive account strategy, execution, and performance to achieve revenue targets Expand market share across all channels Lead key negotiations and pricing decisions within defined authority Strategic Sales Leadership Define and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy aligned with company objectives Translate strategy into clear sales plans with measurable KPIs, targets, and account ownership Optimize sales processes to improve efficiency, conversion, and customer experience Deliver regular performance insights and reporting to the CEO and executive team Organizational Leadership Lead and develop the sales organization, including Account Managers, Field Representatives, Customer Service, and future Inside Sales Build and scale a strong leadership bench (Sales Managers, Customer Service leadership) Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement Coach talent and proactively plan for organizational growth Sales Infrastructure & Operational Excellence Establish Salesforce as the single source of truth for pipeline, forecasting, and reporting Build and operationalize the Sales Playbook Implement clear performance standards, reporting cadence, and accountability frameworks Drive operational efficiency through a disciplined, process-oriented approach Pricing & Commercial Execution Execute pricing strategy within company guardrails Partner with Product and Finance on cost, margin, and market positioning Ensure disciplined pricing that balances competitiveness and profitability Merchandising & Market Intelligence Oversee merchandising execution across all channels Align with production on timelines and future merchandising needs Manage merchandising budgets (samples, displays, etc.) Capture and leverage competitive insights and customer feedback Partner with Marketing to enhance in-market effectiveness E-Commerce Leadership Lead customer relationships and commercial performance for e-commerce Partner with Data (product accuracy) and Marketing (content and digital performance) Transition operational ownership from the CEO during Year 1 Other Duties Participate in key customer meetings, trade shows, and industry engagement Partner with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Executive teams to align on strategy and execution Support product launches, strategic initiatives, and customer experience improvements Stay current on operational trends, compliance requirements, and best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred 15+ years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles (e.g., VP, Director, or equivalent). Proven track record leading complex, multi-channel sales organizations with measurable success in revenue growth and market expansion. Deep experience leading teams through system/process change, particularly CRM integrations (Salesforce experience required). Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution—comfortable diving into day-to-day details when necessary. Career trajectory that includes front-line, hands-on experience, not just executive-track roles. Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to hold teams accountable to high standards Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Physical Demands Regularly stand/sit for extended periods, operate office equipment, perform light to moderate lifting, occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. occasionally, bend, twist, and maintain proper posture.
