Director of New Construction (Fire Protection / Mechanical Construction)Northern New JerseyAbout the OpportunityWe're partnering with a rapidly growing fire protection contractor generating $40M+ in annual revenue and scaling toward $60M+, with a strong backlog of work and a clear path for continued expansion.
We're hiring a Director of New Construction to lead and scale the division responsible for estimating, sales, and preconstruction.
This is a high-impact leadership role with direct visibility to executive leadership and full ownership over growth, team performance, and profitability.

General ContractorsDevelopersOwners & EngineersPartner with operations, design, and leadership to ensure successful project executionManage forecasting, WIP, margins, and overall business performanceWhat We're Looking ForExperience in construction leadership, estimating, or preconstructionBackground in fire protection, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or specialty contractingProven track record of driving revenue and managing teamsStrong understanding of:
Estimating & bid strategyJob costing & marginsBacklog forecastingAbility to operate at both strategic + hands-on levelsNice to Have (Not Required):
Fire sprinkler experienceExperience with tools like Sage, Procore, Salesforce, ConstructConnectStrong leaders from adjacent trades are encouraged to apply.
