Job Description:
Overview We are seeking a high-performing Territory Manager to drive growth across a defined New Jersey / New York territory. This is a consultative, B2B sales role focused on new business development and account expansion within industrial applications. This role is ideal for a true hunter who understands complex product applications and has successfully sold chemical-based solutions into industrial or manufacturing environments. Remote (Must reside in Northern NJ or NYC boroughs)
Compensation:
Base Salary:
$105,000
  • $125,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE): $143

Required Industry Experience (Non-Negotiable) Candidates must have direct sales experience in one or more of the following : Adhesives Sealants Elastomers Specialty chemicals or chemical distribution Key Responsibilities Prospect, develop, and close new business within the assigned territory Grow and retain existing accounts, increasing revenue and margin Deliver consultative, solution-based sales aligned to customer needs Build relationships with key stakeholders across operations, procurement, and leadership Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in CRM Develop strategic account plans to meet territory goals Present pricing, proposals, and product solutions effectively Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customer success Participate in trade shows and industry events Travel approximately 50% within territory What Makes You a Strong Fit Proven hunter mentality with consistent new business wins Strong technical curiosity and ability to understand product applications Disciplined pipeline and territory management approach Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Highly self-motivated and results-driven Qualifications Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience in chemical-related products Minimum 3 years of business development experience with proven revenue growth Strong consultative selling and problem-solving capabilities Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (Challenger, Sandler, etc.) preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record Benefits & Perks Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Generous PTO Tuition reimbursement Employee assistance programs Collaborative and growth-oriented culture Why This Role Join a growth-focused organization where you'll have the autonomy to build your territory, backed by strong internal support and a portfolio of technical solutions that solve real customer challenges.
