$85,000-$100,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Benefits Are you a lighting industry sales professional with a strong network and a proven ability to generate new business? We're partnering with a growing commercial lighting manufacturer seeking a relationship-driven sales leader to expand market presence throughout the Northern New Jersey and New York metropolitan region. This is an opportunity to join a company that offers both established product lines and custom lighting solutions while giving you the autonomy to leverage your industry relationships and build long-term revenue growth. What You'll Do Drive territory growth through strategic business development efforts Develop new relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, designers, specifiers, and end users Expand existing customer accounts while identifying new revenue opportunities Strengthen and manage relationships with lighting representatives and channel partners Promote commercial, architectural, specialty, and custom lighting solutions Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations Identify and pursue large project opportunities throughout the territory Monitor market activity, industry trends, and competitive positioning Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue goals What We're Looking For 2+ years of lighting industry experience Strong existing network within the lighting market Proven success generating new business and growing revenue Experience selling through distributors, rep agencies, contractors, and specification channels Established relationships with electrical distributors, contractors, architects, designers, and specifiers Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Entrepreneurial mindset with a true hunter mentality Ability to work independently while contributing to company growth initiatives Ideal Background We are especially interested in professionals coming from: Commercial lighting manufacturers Architectural lighting companies Lighting rep agencies Electrical product manufacturers Wholesale lighting distribution Specification-grade lighting organizations Why Consider This Opportunity?
