As our Hotel Sales Manager , you will spearhead efforts to grow corporate and group accounts, establish key relationships in the local business community, and position the hotel as the preferred choice for events and accommodations. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies designed to increase hotel revenue across room bookings, events, and group business. Generate new business by actively making cold calls, following up on leads, and strategically prospecting local companies, organizations, and institutions. Visit local businesses, hospitals, government offices, and community organizations to present the property, showcase its offerings, and secure long-term accounts. Attend networking events, business mixers, and industry gatherings to promote the hotel, build relationships, and enhance brand visibility. Conduct engaging property tours and presentations for potential clients to demonstrate the hotel's unique value and amenities. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts to ensure repeat business and long-term loyalty. Support marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, special promotions, and local community outreach programs. Track all leads, outreach, and sales activities to monitor progress and consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals. Collaborate closely with the General Manager to implement, refine, and optimize sales strategies that align with overall business objectives. Qualifications Proven experience in sales, with hotel or hospitality industry experience strongly preferred. Comfortable and confident with cold calling, outside sales, and in-person networking. Familiarity with Sales Force, Cvent, or Lanyon Event systems is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently while consistently achieving targets.
