About the Director, Advertising Sales Operations & Brand Partnerships The Director of Ad Sales Ops & Brand Partnerships is a senior, cross-functional revenue leader responsible for driving advertising and sponsorship revenue, leading revenue operations, and managing talent and host relationships across Audiochuck's portfolio of shows, including Crime Junkie, the most downloaded podcast in the United States. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Revenue, this role blends strategic sales leadership with operational rigor. The Director drives revenue growth while building and maintaining the systems, processes, and partner relationships that enable scalable performance in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Sales & Revenue Generation Drive full sales cycles across brand-direct and agency partnerships Build and manage a robust pipeline of brand partners aligned with Audiochuck's audience and content values Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets across the show portfolio Partnership Development & Management Develop tailored sponsorship packages and partnership proposals that deliver measurable value Serve as primary point of contact for a portfolio of brand partners, ensuring campaigns execute seamlessly Identify upsell, renewal, and multi-show integration opportunities Act as Audiochuck's operational lead for RSV, managing weekly partner cadence and internal alignment Advertising Sales Operations Oversee and support the Ad Ops Coordinator across approvals, recording coordination, and partner communications Provide leadership during Salesforce implementation and partner with the Sales Ops Analyst to transition from legacy tracking systems Lead operational roadmap initiatives including CRM integration and AdsWizz access Own inventory forecasting and optimization, balancing revenue growth with show and host experience Build and maintain supply forecasts and recommend ad load strategies Monitor performance dashboards, identify anomalies, and recommend remediation strategies Prepare and present executive summaries, forecast variance reporting, and inventory health insights Revenue Strategy & Analytics Own and maintain the RevOps Scorecard and show-level performance reporting Maintain bottom-up revenue models and improve forecast accuracy Provide variance analysis and executive reporting that reconciles revenue, operations, and finance Deliver RPM, CPM, and partner performance insights to inform strategic decisions Day-to-Day Execution Maintain high velocity across inbound opportunities and outbound outreach without sacrificing quality Collaborate closely with content, production, and marketing to ensure integrations are on-brand and on-brief Track deal progress, campaign performance, and revenue reporting, flagging risks and opportunities in real time Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with content, production, and creative teams to develop audience-first sponsorship formats Work with finance and operations on deal structuring, contracts, and revenue forecasting Represent Audiochuck and Crime Junkie at industry events and partner meetings What You'll Bring to the Table Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in brand partnerships, advertising sales, or media sales Proven track record of closing deals and exceeding revenue targets Strong sales instincts with the ability to prospect, pitch, and close multiple deals simultaneously Excellent relationship-building skills with brand-direct and agency contacts Experience managing a large pipeline in a fast-paced environment Experience building or managing revenue operations processes and analytics Clear and compelling communicator across written and verbal formats Preferred Experience in podcast, audio, or digital media advertising sales Existing relationships with relevant brand and agency buyers Familiarity with host-read, programmatic, and branded content formats Experience with Salesforce CRM and AdsWizz or similar ad-serving platforms Experience managing host or talent relationships Passion for the Crime Junkie brand and Audiochuck's mission What Audiochuck Will Bring to the Table Commitment to intentional leadership development Dedication to company culture and promoting mental health A collaborative and passionate team aligned around advocacy and impact Opportunity to shape revenue strategy for a leading podcast network Competitive base salary and bonus incentives Comprehensive benefits package 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Generous paid time off Team events and company-sponsored activities The base salary for this role is between $125,000
