Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Construction Sales Representative to join our growing team! Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow territory sales within the construction sector, focusing on B2B (business-to-business) relationships. Prospect new clients through cold calling, lead generation activities, and networking events to expand the customer base. Conduct engaging product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase solutions tailored to client needs. Manage existing accounts through proactive account management strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction and upselling opportunities. Utilize CRM software such as Netsuite and RepMove to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement. Negotiate contracts and pricing terms effectively while maintaining profitability and fostering positive client relationships. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business development efforts and increase brand awareness. Maintain comprehensive territory management by analyzing market trends, identifying new opportunities, and optimizing sales routes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently. Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to inform strategic decisions and track progress toward goals. Experience Proven success in outside sales or direct B2B sales within the construction or related industries. Demonstrated ability to manage territory sales effectively through strategic planning and execution. Experience with account management, lead generation, cold calling, and closing complex deals. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of construction products or technical solutions is highly desirable. Background in marketing or business development is a plus but not required. Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights for growth strategies.
