What We Need:
We are looking for a business development manager to generate opportunities with media organizations in the United States.What You'll Do:
Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, generating revenue, and expanding market presence. The role combines sales leadership, relationship management, strategic planning, and market analysis.What You'll Need:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with company objectives Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders Generate leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and market research Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support customer acquisition and retention Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities Prepare proposals, presentations, pricing models, and business cases Meet or exceed revenue, profitability, and growth targets Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and reporting metricsWhat You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA often preferred) 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or strategic partnerships Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth goals Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills Experience managing complex client relationships and enterprise sales cycles Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in fast-paced environments Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return Accountability for own work and desire to provide guidance to new team members Ability to contribute to several projects at the same time under a moderate level of direction Application of objective judgement, technical skills and prior experience to solve business problems Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a knack for explaining complex information in a straightforward manner Desire for continued knowledge sharing and learning Understanding of impact of own decisionsCompensation:
Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for commissions. $68,000- $85,000
