We are seeking an energetic, results-driven General Manager to lead our Willoughby Hills location. This individual will be responsible for driving membership growth, developing staff, creating an outstanding club culture, and ensuring operational excellence throughout the facility. Position Summary The General Manager serves as the senior leader of the club and is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations, including membership sales, member retention, staff management, facility oversight, financial performance, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can inspire a team, hold employees accountable, deliver exceptional customer service, and consistently achieve business goals. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop club staff Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews Build a positive, energetic, and accountable culture Manage staffing schedules and labor budgets Lead by example and maintain high professional standards Membership Sales & Retention Drive membership growth through sales initiatives and community outreach Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance Develop strategies to improve member retention and engagement Ensure all leads receive timely follow-up Review club KPIs and implement action plans to achieve goals Club Operations Oversee all daily facility operations Ensure club cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards Manage vendor relationships and facility needs Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Handle escalated member concerns and provide resolutions Financial Management Manage club profitability and operating expenses Monitor payroll and labor efficiency Achieve monthly revenue goals and operational targets Analyze reports and identify opportunities for growth Community Engagement Build relationships with local businesses and organizations Represent Onyx Gyms at community events Help develop and execute local marketing initiatives Serve as an ambassador for the Onyx brand QualificationsRequired Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience Strong sales and customer service background Proven ability to lead and motivate teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed Preferred Fitness industry experience Multi-department management experience Experience managing budgets and KPIs Membership sales management experience What Success Looks Like Consistently achieving membership sales goals Strong member retention and satisfaction scores Well-trained and engaged team members Clean, organized, and well-maintained facility Positive club culture and community reputation Growth in revenue and overall club performance Why Join Onyx?
