Position Overview Telephone Connections, LLC is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead business development efforts, drive revenue growth, and help expand our presence in the VoIP and telecommunications market. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a consultative sales environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and can take ownership of the sales process from prospecting through close. The Sales Manager will work closely with company leadership, technical teams, and implementation staff to ensure customers receive tailored communication solutions that meet their business goals. Salary Range $65,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience, leadership ability, and sales performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and closing Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight for a small sales team of two or more representatives, fostering accountability, professional growth, and achievement of team revenue goals. Drive new business development efforts and consistently meet or exceed revenue goals Build, maintain, and advance a healthy sales pipeline through networking, referrals, outbound outreach, and lead-generation initiatives Conduct consultative sales meetings to assess customer communication needs, operational challenges, and growth objectives Present and position VoIP, hosted PBX, SIP, and related telecom solutions as strategic business tools Develop tailored proposals and solution recommendations for mid-market and enterprise clients Collaborate with technical and implementation teams to ensure accurate solution design and successful project onboarding Maintain strong client relationships to encourage long-term partnerships, account growth, and customer retention Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies within the telecommunications industry Provide sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and revenue updates to company leadership QualificationsEducation / Experience Requirements 7+ years of B2B sales experience in telecommunications, technology, SaaS, managed services, or consulting Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth Experience managing complex, solution-based sales cycles Strong leadership, organizational, and pipeline management skills Demonstrated ability to develop long-term customer relationships and strategic accounts Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience selling VoIP, cloud communications, telecom, or managed IT solutions Familiarity with procurement processes, contracts, and business negotiations Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, technicians, and support teams Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team success Strong business acumen and consultative selling approach Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a results-driven mindset with the initiative to stay productive, pursue new opportunities, and consistently strive for success.
