Direct Hire (On-site) Archon Resources is currently looking for a General Electric & Sales Manager to join one of our best clients located in Grove, Oklahoma . This is a Direct Hire Opportunity with full benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, & 401k.Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a growing distribution and supply organization, with direct accountability for operational performance, revenue execution, gross margin management, inventory control, and team leadership. This individual will play a key role in driving operational structure, process improvement, and scalable growth initiatives while helping transition the business into a more disciplined and systems-driven operation. The role is designed to evolve into broader operational leadership over time, with increasing ownership of both execution and strategic oversight as the organization continues to mature.Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership Lead daily business operations across sales support, warehouse, purchasing, inventory, and customer service functions Drive execution against revenue, profitability, and operational performance goals Ensure operational continuity during system implementations and process improvement initiatives Establish accountability and performance standards across all functional areas Inventory & Purchasing Management Oversee inventory management strategies including reorder points, min/max controls, and SKU optimization Support disciplined purchasing practices and data-driven inventory decisions Reduce excess and obsolete inventory while improving inventory turnover and efficiency Sales & Customer Development Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers, including contractor and project-based accounts Support growth initiatives focused on larger-scale and recurring project opportunities Assist with estimating, quoting, and operational support for commercial and project-related business Systems & Process Improvement Lead ERP adoption, optimization, and utilization efforts across the organization Ensure integrity and accuracy of inventory, costing, and financial data within operational systems Develop and implement standardized operating procedures to improve consistency and efficiency Team Leadership & Culture Lead, coach, and develop operational, warehouse, and customer-facing team members Foster a professional, accountable, and solutions-oriented culture Align team performance with organizational goals and operational expectations Financial & Operational Accountability Monitor and manage key operational metrics including revenue, gross margin, inventory performance, accounts receivable, and accounts payable Support cash flow management through disciplined operational execution and cost control Partner with ownership and leadership to evaluate business performance and adjust operational strategies as needed Organizational Growth & Scalability Assume increasing responsibility for operational strategy and business oversight as the organization grows Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process improvements, clearer role alignment, and strategic staffing support Help build scalable systems and infrastructure to support long-term growth and operational stabilityRequirements:
5+ years of operational leadership experience within distribution, supply chain, industrial, electrical, or related environments Demonstrated success managing inventory within a multi-SKU operation Strong understanding of pricing strategy, gross margin management, and operational cost controls Experience working with ERP systems and integrated business platforms Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability in a hands-on operational setting Preferred Background Experience in process improvement, lean operations, or continuous improvement environments Familiarity with contractor-driven, industrial, or project-based sales operations Ability to balance tactical execution with long-term operational planning Strong communication and relationship-building skills across both field teams and leadership groups Success Profile The successful candidate will: Implement disciplined and repeatable operational processes across the organization Improve inventory performance and reduce excess working capital tied to stock Support growth in project-based and long-term customer relationships Build a stable, accountable, and high-performing operational culture Progressively take on broader operational ownership and leadership responsibility over time Archon Resources is a top staffing and recruiting firm offering direct hire and contract placement in Tulsa, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Austin, and Northwest Arkansas.
