Job Description
We are looking for an experienced District Sales Manager to join our team at National Coatings & Supplies! This position will be responsible for the Western Region.
You will be responsible for the leadership, coaching, and development of Territory Managers and Store Managers with a focus on expanding business and brand loyalty. Accountable for consistently achieving sales objectives, ensuring sales are profitable, and adhering to the guidelines of the Company's defined sales and marketing practices. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and set key gold standard goals and objectives for each store. Provide follow-up and analyze trends to assist each store in goal attainment. Monitor and promote Paint Body and Equipment (PBE) sales and earnings by setting sales goals and quotas, conducting and coordinating sales with VP of sales and disseminating information to the store management group. Maximize sales, profitability and ROI Monitor all PBE inventories to ensure that stores maintain inventory levels in compliance with company guidelines, ensure all PBE inventory in warehouses are being purchased from the distribution center, and perform annual physical inventory tie out analysis. Ensure high quality customer service is delivered by providing guidance and direction in the hire and training of store staff. Promote sales by communicating appropriate information to store managers and salesmen regarding promotions and programs. Hire and expand the district to scale with the company growth and objectives. Oversee the development and maintenance of annual budgets at the store level and assists Store Managers in meeting budgetary requirements. Conduct regular Store Manager and Sales team meetings to maintain team orientation, assess talent, and cross-germinate ideas. Monitor PBE store operations by conducting annual audits and various on-site visits in order to ensure every store is using proven, company-wide processes and procedures. Manage the completion of shop profiles, quality audits, target accounts and customer conversions. Monitor payroll, gross profit and expenses to ensure profit plan expectations are met. Determine, tabulate, and analyze key information to provide proactive guidance to store group. Submit executive-level reports to key management as needed. Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Education Requirements Associates Degree in Business Management or related field 4-6 years of automotive/ industrial paint experience either as a counter person, salesperson, or store manager Successful sales track record, excellent communication skills, ability to create and execute a district sales plan, ability to manage budgets, strong leadership and goal-setting ability to function in a fast-paced start-up environment. Team-player with the ability to lead a highly motivated and demanding sales team. Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve What's in it for You?
