We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support a growing life-sciences services organization expanding its U.S. presence (pharma/biotech-focused). This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships, and partnering closely with internal technical/operations teams to align solutions with client needs Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across pharma and biotech clients Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers Partner with internal technical and operations teams to align services with client needs Support creation of proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials Stay up to date on market trends, competitive activity, and client demand Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings Track pipeline activity, client engagement, and overall BD performance Manage select accounts with a focus on long-term relationship growth First U.S.-focused hire supporting expansion, ideally based near the Mid-Atlantic region Approximately 50 percent travel across client sites, trade shows, and industry events Initial onboarding includes time spent with international teams for training and alignment Role focused on relationship development and coordination over high-volume sales Lower deal volume environment with emphasis on quality of engagements over quantity Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree is a plus 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within pharma/biotech Proven ability to grow and manage client relationships in a technical services setting Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Experience working within consultative, relationship-driven sales environments #M3 #
