Job Description

Job Description- Heavy Duty Truck Sales Manager The position is responsible for increasing SFWS's sales and market penetration while taking care of existing customers needs, developing the sales staff while improving departmental scope and profitability. Responsibilities Sales of new trucks in NEPA, concentrating on conquest customers and fleets. Manage, direct, motivate and provide support for sales staff. Inventory Management- procurement, spec, get readys, display, reviews, dealer transfers. Writing sales agreements, doing specs, securing deposits and processing paperwork in accordance with dealership policies and processes. Promote goodwill to our current parts & service customers and support and develop new sales, parts, service & warranty customers for all SFSWS locations. Control and plan expenses Lead weekly sales meeting on Monday morning. Increase sales cold calls. Training and Certification requirements for Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu and Elite Support. Must complete Expert Salesperson Certification in first year. Accept no compensation and/or gratuity from any customer, vendor, wholesaler or dealer. It is necessary to have no conflicts of interest. Must have and maintain valid CDL. Qualifications Must be a motivated individual. Strong computer and phone skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Solid time management and analytical skills. Extensive knowledge of heavy duty equipment. Experience with heavy duty truck sales or equipment. Experience spec'ing and ordering trucks. Ability to learn equipment specifications and engineer products to customer needs. Professional attitude and appearance with a strong work ethic. College degree or related sales experience preferred.
