Regional Sales Manager Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the growth in sales of all products offered by United Safety. This position will be responsible and accountable for developing and managing relations with multiple market segment customers in their territories, understanding the market and their customers' requirements, and demonstrating consistent closing techniques in securing orders.
Responsibilities:
As Regional Sales Manager, you will: Work with current OEMs and distributors to grow the business and meet sales objectives.
Identify new OEMs and distributors to exceed sales objectives.
Identify & communicate new product needs to Engineering.
Develop sales tools and conduct regular training sessions to promote the suppression and detection systems, along with complementary products.
Interface with customers and distributors to determine proper equipment for the application.
Maintain sufficient quote volume in the territory to ensure order levels are met.
Ensure quotations to customers:
Meet the customers' requirementsComply with company guidelinesInclude documentation to explain the systemResult in company-approved profit margins
Follow all projects to ensure closure of orders - revise quotations as necessary.
Assist with Customer Service and Order Entry and ensure correct information is provided.
Assist with Accounts Receivable to collect funds from customers as needed.
Review non-standard projects with Engineering and/or Manufacturing.
Follow orders through manufacturing process, shipment and installation and start-up.
Strive for continuous quality improvement of products and processes.
Interface with other personnel as needed, i.e. MAGI, Sales Force, Operations improvement, etc.
Collect competitive information to aid sales efforts.
Interest in growth into a leadership role is important.
Travel to shows and customers to review projects is required, mostly in the United States.
